very confusing! Sounds typical for the newly unemployed. But at 64 I can start a new business! And appears long term unemployed is past 26 weeks but 99er's fall into the dead zone! But he has one good thing, employers cannot descriminate long term. Right??? Guess everytime we get turned down or no interview we can yell descrimination and they'll jump to our rescue! This employment insurance is bogus and DOA! Also proves Obama has no interest in 99er's. If so show me !

Agreed, it says in there benefits for up to 2 years, well that's 99 weeks.
Obama intentionally left out the REAL long term unemployed, yet there are 99ers that still support him? I guess he can get away with it than.

Yeah, it's as if 100 weeks has become some sort of psychological barrier that no one is government wants to go beyond, despite the mountain of evidence showing that it's nearly impossible to get a job, because of the lack of REAL job openings.
The vast majority of unemployed people want to get back to work, because for nearly all of their adult lives, they've been responsible, productive, tax-paying citizens.
