The PA DOL&I website has been updated as of 6/2/11. Concerning EB, to summarize, it states that as a result of a drop in PA's unemployment rate for the three-month period ending in April 2011, the state no longer qualifies for the EB Program. Maximum duration of benefits for unemployed Pennsylvanians will drop to 73 weeks. If you are among those with a remaining balance in their EB, those benefits cannot be paid after June 11, 2011. If further extensions become available, the department will notify you and all individuals who may qualify for them.

I believe they are working on legislation in PA to keep EB in place. Here is the link:
